Finished resetting the variables for the menu, it's now a fully working, looping game :):) I'ts friday and I'm feeling good.
9/10/2003
Menu buttons now work, next week-- make variables reset :)
8/10/2003
Diamond to select game state moves now, available only for the devel version for now.
7/10/2003
Coded in beginnings of an intro and outro screen.

2/10/2003
Started coding the menu and intro screen so it will loop like a normal game,
not just start into it and exit to command prompt.
30/9/2003
Made a song and sound effect for when he catches a heart.

22/09/2003
Added sound.
The engine is there, and some test wavs are under the wav dir in the devel section (please keep this dir struct)

They are of me going lalalala :P

8/9/2003
Added a new enemy, doesn't do anything yet, just flies around for now.(linux and dev files only)
Have split up the levels, I have decided on 30.
now just need to figure out what will go where, maybe while I'm doing this I'll make some sounds and music as well :)

below not dated

Timing added, finally :P
added "evil hearts" when they are caught, one caught heart is taken away from you
added kick bonus
when rock is kicked it can kill the troll and bonus points get added to score
As you might have noticed I haven't changed the version number in ages, because for the moment it
is there purely for cosmetics.

The linux version now has an end of level screen :) and tells you which level you are entering.

HAHA!! Found the problem, it didn't work in XP, and sometimes
it would lose the sprite but fixed now :)
I had a pain in the arse trying to find the bug, but eventually got it!! I'm sooo happy :)
Levels are coming now that I have this bastard is out of the way :)

Hugooski, is a teddy bear which catches hearts to build up his cuteness level.
I have posted an early version which displays Hugooski's controls.
In development are enemies, obstacles and different sceneries.
So if you like have a look.

No documentation at the moment but it is quite self explanatory.
Move left and right using left and right keys, space to jump, q to quit.
It requires libsdl and libsdl_image both available from the sdl link in the left column.
Unpack it, go into the hugooski directory, type make then ./hugooski to run.
Timing is needed badly.
It works on my computer and my wifes, but my bro's laptop if seg faults out???
I hope to have a fairly stable version with a few levels available in about a month.
